Kate Larson and Nelly DeVault host regular fiber arts classes at the Trading Post. These informal sessions typically have a topic for discussion, but all are free to work on their own spinning and knitting projects as well. Unless otherwise noted, the cost for each 2-hour session is $15.

July 6 10–noon – Shetland Lace Spun Two Ways with Kate. Several of you have been asking questions about spinning for Shetland haps and lace. Come try several yarn styles with Shetland tops and fleece.
1–3pm – Marled Yarns Made Easy with Kate. Love the look of marled yarns, but hate spinning across the top of multiple tops or rovings? Kate will show you another way.

July 27 10–noon – Exploring Long Draw with Nelly. Join Nelly to explore woolen spinning with a long draw using different fiber preparations. She’ll have a drumcarder on hand, and you can make your own blends of colors and fibers.
1–3pm – Open Spinning & Knitting.
